Spain: Unemployment has decreased by 86,683 people in April

According to the Ministry of Employment, unemployment fell by 86,683 people in Spain in April and 167,373 jobs were created.

Especially in all autonomous communities, unemployment has decreased, with a number of 12,515 in Catalonia and 24,105 in Andalusia. Catalonia created 30,760 jobs, whereas Aragon lost about 400.

When looking at the specific sectors, unemployment has mainly reduced in services (by 57,507 people) and under construction (by 13,913 people). The stats, therefore, show a certain trend: The service sector determines employment, as it is the key sector.
